Not the best book out there This book is a bit. odd. Like other reviewers have noted, many of the pages are embossed (so various aspects will be slightly raised), and there are some parts with glitter, but the only actual "touch and feel" aspect is the fuzzy teddy bear on one page. It does have a page for "my family," with places to either write names or stick pictures of parents/grandparents, which is cute, but the drawings and omnipresent, ominous "guardian angel" kind of creep me out. If you want a book that will remind you of your own strict Catholic upbringing in the 70's or 80's, this one is perfect. I feel like it could use some updating, though.. "Colorful, Godly, and made with Love! Perfect baby baptism gift!" according to MSanta. Absolutely ADORABLE! It was way bigger than I thought it would be when it arrived and inside is Soooo colorful! It's so beautifully written with powerful one sentences for a baby! My niece is about to be baptized and I'm the Godparent. I bought this baby book to add to her Baptism Basket as a gift! It's the perfect addition! Love it and being that it's so cheery with color and Godly words of love--she will love it too! It even has bubbled out pages kind of like a slight Colorful, Godly, and made with Love! Perfect baby baptism gift! Absolutely ADORABLE! Mallee I bought two new books and they both arrived damaged. So, so disappointed. They looked either used or water damaged on the bottom edges - are seriously separated. I will be returning for an exchange, hopefully the next two will arrive new.
