With exception of "The Valley of Fear" from the renowned Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (which I've now acquired for the third time and other kindle owners should be able to acquire for gratis) this was a choice blend of P.I. / suspense stories that would set you back even more $$$ were you to try to purchase them separately. "The Four Just Men" by Wallace and "Big Bow Mystery" by Zangwill would already total twice the price if bought alone. Toss in the rare "Doomdorf Mystery" by Post and two of the Father Brown Mysteries by Chesterton which I've been wanting to read for the longest time (and are only avail. dot said British Mysteries. I, in general, love the Holmes and Watson books, and those written in that style.In this series, there was one I didn't enjoy. The wonderful thing is, most are intriguing,and if you hit one that is not, you just skip to the next.For that reason, I really love the series books, and I love mysteries.
