He was so excited when he opened it. It has full color graphic pages, and it shows all the different Sklyanders in all their forms. He spent quite a long time looking thru the pages. It was a hit.. Howie's Mom said hooks young readers. The Skylanders series of books are surprisingly good for young readers. My son is nearly six with a typical short attention span for any activity. This series is written in small snippets of stories and character descriptions. There are also many challenging words that provide my son and I the opportunity to discuss and use context clues together, covertly teaching him new decoding skills.
