A really handy book to have. D Ballings I purchased this book after a friend let me borrow hers. I could not believe how helpful this is and how much I have learned about diagnosing symptoms. Living in a rural area, it is nice to be able to assess a situation prior to running an hour away to the hospital. It also helps in noticing things that could mean the possibility of an underlying condition that needs medical attention. The book is written in language the layman can understand. The copy I received was in excellent condition and exactly as described by the seller. I highly recommend this one.. Excellent resource for the medical student or resident who actually wants to learn how to make diagnoses without labs and x-rays I learned a ton from this book. I cannot rate it too high.
