This book has some nice patterns as well as very easy to understand directions for most knitting stitches. This book is a great book for someone who is just learning to knit ! It has LOTS of pictures and diagrams so that you can see just how each stitch is supposed to work. There are also a lot of patterns for projects that you can make, and they have links to the description of each stitch, so if you are making a project, and not sure how exactly that stitch is made, you can use the link and see just how to do it..
