All's good on the Dominarian Front. Content: Lynn Abbey's Planeswalker has a much darker atmosphere than it's predecessor (the excellent The Brothers' War by Jeff Grubb), but that is because it approaches things from a much different angle. Instead of being an adventure story, it is instead a book on the protagonist's psychological state in dealing with the losses suffered previously through the eyes of his companion. It is a very different and mature book, but that is in no way bad. The writing style is crisp, the characters believable, and . Wish they were ebooks Christopher A Clark I have owned these books individually since them came out over 12 years ago. I recently had to get rid of them for space concerns. I wish they would release these as ebooks. The books have always been my favorites in the MTG universe. After I finished the first volume, I couldn't wait to get my hands on this one. And it was worth it.As the story was in full crescendo in the first volume, I only thought this second one would be at the same level or maybe lower, but I was wrong.The first volume just set up the scene for what was about to unfold. Spoilers aside, characters were built through storytelling, some died, some prevailed, but time passed, and history just unfolded with more stories of battle, survival and character. It was a great
