DESCRIPTION:
Old book recycled! Baby Boomer special! Whistlers Mom Buyers should be aware that this book was written while the Ed Sullivan Show was still on the air (i.e before June, 1971.) It is NOT a study of the show or the man from a modern-day perspective. I assume it was converted to digital format to take advantage of the hype surrounding the 50th anniversary of the Beatles appearance on this show. The conversion was sloppily done and some sections appear to ha. "Just OK" according to GA Russell. It has a good chapter discussing Sullivan's feud with Jack Paar; but other than that, it's not very informative.. Penang1970 said Five Stars. An entertaining read on what you never knew about the Ed Sullivan show.
