Good explanations of basic principles I just found this book in the library and spent about an hour looking through it. The book is not comprehensive, but it is very interesting. I very much enjoyed reading the engineering explanations of wind turbines, airfoils, heat engines, etc., and must admit that although I am a research engineer working in renewable energy I learned a few things (stuff I should have known already).
