DESCRIPTION:

I love it! Amazon Customer When I first got this book, I couldn't figure it out! It seemed like a big puzzle to me! And there wasn't any English at all!! But after about the fourth try, I suddenly (duh!) saw how it works. The paradigms are in the front, and then, Oh Glorious Moment! I realized that I could look up any form of the verb and find out its origin. As anyone who studies Greek knows, some of the forms seem to have traveled a long distance from the original active, present tense. So sometimes it is hard to figure . I always recommend this to my Greek students As a classics professor, I always recommend that my Greek students buy this book, once they've progressed past the elementary grammar-stage and are actually trying to translate literature (or Scripture). In other words, this book is NOT for the student in the first, or even second, year of college-level Greek, but rather for the folks who are starting to read the unsimplified, original ancient texts. Initially, they usually find it of little use, but that's because they're still trying to figure . A Customer said An extremely useful book.
