Young love is so painful This is real good. The uncertainty and the walk on tight rope feelings. Great book one! This is on my list of good manga!. Such an honest story of young love Niki Young love of close friends , where the stronger one protects the weaker one, is a common theme in boy love. And I have yet to grow bored with it. This one by my favorite mangaka is just so well executed. So easy to feel for these two boys and be touched by their situation. The older Tetsuya who only wants to protect Sora but end up possibly hurting him. The younger Sora who is so likable in his innocence and seeming fragility, bewildered by the change in the only person who matters in his young life. Emotions so well conveyed in this story. Sora's unhappy childhood also ad. Karin Mazaki said a good start. The first volume of the three part series is classic Kinoshita. Beautiful boys in a finely plotted and well drawn story. The story of these two young men is set up perfectly and we are on the edge of our seats. What is to happen to the childhood friends in love? Unfortunately the story slips from this high point and never regains it. The biggest disappointment in the series is how stupid one of the two main characters turns out to be.
