"Ah, Love, The Comedy, The Drama" according to Dorothy E Ingram. I love this boxed set, "A Missing Piece", by Nicole Stewart. It's a comedy/drama, and the story is complete, there aren't any cliffhangers, but somehow, the ending feels incomplete. It's the story of Patrick, Constantine, and Rachel, and their families. The only one who knows what she wants in her life is Rachel, and yet she manages to make a huge mistake, that causes the drama.Nicole Stewart is one of my favorite authors. She is a very talented writer, showing a flair for writing humorous scenes and dialogue. The plot is very good, the story moves well, and the characters are wonderfully drawn. Also, the female protagonist is easy to dislike--perhaps because she is a flat character--and I found myself wondering when that dissonance was going to be resolved. It isn't. By the end of the book, I thought: they'd be much better off without her. Not sure what her back-story was but she came off as emotionless. In fact, none of the characters had a
