In other words, I get paid to be a cynic about the publishing industry. Know up front that I don't give 5 stars lightly or easily.I'd heard of John Piper often and heard him quoted even more so it seemed. A devotional? Maybe this will be a good introdu. Balanced, Practical, Encouraging, Exhorting, Accurate. This book has blessed me and I highly recommend it. Eric This book was a great encouragement and source of sound thinking. Pipers pastoral heart can be heard and felt in each of the daily topics. Balanced practical encouraging. I would highly recommend this book.. G.
