Nice design, limited utility Lacey A. Dalby I was very excited when I got this book. I use a lot of monograms in my artwork, and thought this would be a great inspiration and jumping-off point. I bought the book specifically because the designs were included on a CD.The CD is very disappointing. It basically allows you to see the pages of the book, and print them out- the whole page, not just one image. You also cannot save one image to print out or incorporate into a digital design. You have to go through. "Excellent Resource & fun" according to Sherry L. Verwey. A great reference for anyone who does calligraphy or hand lettering of any sort. Also great to see origins of certain handwriting and fun alphabets beyond what most reference lettering books have.. "Useful for Calligraphers" according to marilyd. This book not only had a comprehensive list of different hands but also a wide variety of capital letters. The CD makes it easy to print out and copy the capitals you need. Very handy!
